Client: A Los Angeles based family-focused community and content source for healthy living, recipes, and videos.
Background: Design and build a flexible, searchable, and mobile-friendly website with a user-friendly new backend to transition Weelicious away from WordPress.
As Weelicious’s website content expanded, its recipe database had grown into the thousands, making search and content management a challenge.Weelicious wanted something that would allow users to search for recipes and all their content writers and editors to easily manage the backend. While WordPress worked at the start, their content library was becoming unmanageable, unsearchable, and unusable. As their content base was increasingly visiting the site from a mobile device, Weelicious wanted to take this opportunity to modernize both their content management system and their user interface.
Weelicious knew Kaufman International would know what to do. Our team evaluated content management systems and found that Craft CMS could better manage Weelicious’s growing recipe database, improve searchability, and provide a platform designed for control, customization, and future growth.
Mission Status: Success! Kaufman International worked with Weelicious’s management team to design, build, and launch a Craft CMS-based solution that’s user friendly, meets the business’s needs for the future, and looks great on any device.
